social health care is ok if you have a life or death emergency but if you want to live to a good standard with health I’ve come to learn you’ve got to pay!
ive put up with or carried injuries far to long in the past waiting for NHS assessment, being On a never ending waiting list or refused by gate keepers who prevent you from seeing specialist for broken nose, knee ligament damage adenoid removal and back pain to name a few all of which I’ve had to put up with not working perfectly because the NHS is not working properly. I ve paid for some ailments privately, physio, dental, back adjustments but now I’m fed up of doctors not referring to specialist when I know there is an increased risk to my health by waiting!
Visited my GP on Monday for perforated eardrum and middle ear infection antibiotics prescribed I requested appointment with ENT specialist as the risk to permanent hearing loss without proper treatment is time sensitive ( medical fact not opinion) I’m currently 100% deaf in one ear!
cant and won’t was his response long story short.
after research and finding the best most experienced ENT specialist in the area I contact a private healthcare provider
book an appointment and am seeing a specialist of my choice tomorrow morning.
I’v had a guts full of waiting when I’m sick, time to prioritise my family and myself and buy private health cover.
any other windys have private health cover and what has been your experience?
