shure flow pump problem

My pump has recently started playing up, i started sucking on the out let pipe that helps i now crank it up to maximum 99 and that seems to wake it up.it,ll run all day then backed down to my normal rate,but tomorrow it will prob have to have 99 to get it going.is it time to get another pump now? its over two years old.Or is there a trick?thanks

I would check you're not sucking air into the system, 2 years for a pump is not very good.

ok Part timer will look Its at least 2yrs if i looked in my records i might get a shock how old it is,but i am sat in the arm chair with pc on my chest half knackered at the moment, cheers.
