Quick question before ordering new pressure washer

WCF

Help Support WCF:

nice one , i like the galvanised trolley , mine is 4 years on the go now and no problems worth talking about, one thing to keep an eye on is the oil levels because when low it will not start ,which is a good thing as the engine wont seize up ,i carry oil in the van and top up when low

Yeah my old one is the same, always carry some oil.

i recently replaced the quick release couplings on the hose to the screw on ones because i was sick of replacing the little o rings in the coupling and i find them way better

I use screw in high pressure hoses now too as I found the quick realise couplings where forever jamming/breaking,

I

Its all solid, no cracks anywhere so all good on that front, and yeah I can see damage being caused if not careful, the 0 degree jet is like a bloody laser lol
ive never used any tip lower than a 25 as it still gets everything up

After I have finished with the whirlaway I whack on a lance with a vario nozzle that you can adjust the spray pattern from 0-60 degree on high and low pressure, I find it a very handy bit of kit for rinsing down and doing edging that the whirlaway can't get at. Also if need be I change the vario to a turbo nozzle for faster cleaning on more stubborn bits of edging and steps etc

Had one of those on old washer, but plan on just blasting edges with the turbo?

This is me videoing the wife today with the turbo nozzle, its on about half throttle on the washer and she is about 1/4 of the speed I go at, no need to go this slow, but anyway [media]

Looks a good bit of kit - you certainly get what you pay for!

I've just picked up a Dual Pumps DT14150PHR today, 14 lpm, Honda GX200 engine. I'm doing 200 sqm tomorrow, so hopefully it will do the job.

Amazing, does the buffer tank run out of water fast? I always wondered whether 21lpm would mean constantly waiting for water to fill up?

Let us know how you get on

What are you trying to say /emoticons/biggrin.png

Its fine, I did buy a bigger one though and have a 210l barrel now, but I did a engineering places drive yesterday, it was quite long and wide at the top, was going constantly for 30-45mins barrel was still full at the end so its fine.

So do you think it's a bit quicker to use than the other 12lpm pressure washer you have?
