WCF

Help Support WCF:

How? Clean WFP, BACS transfers only, don't see or talk to clients. Really can't think of anything with a lower risk of virus transfer.
Any unnecessary movement could be spreading the virus, the sooner we accept that fact and do our part, then the sooner this will be over and we can go back to normal, we have to be seen to be doing the right thing. After Rishi's package deal yesterday, there is no excuse to be out on the road. Unless of course the greedy gremlin has wormed itself in deep?

The construction industry is a good example albeit on a massive scale. They are getting dogs abuse. They are brass necked and their get out is we are following guidelines on health etc. Ok for now. Just wait till a builder goes home and his family fall ill. The dogs abuse will get worse. The construction industry with its team of legal eagles will try and ride it but wait till a nurse gets ill or dies, it IS going to happen sadly, and it comes out she travelled on the tube with builders. Wow, the government and construction sites are walking a tightrope. From Piers Morgan to anyone with social media, radio phone ins it WILL turn very nasty. The whole countries outlook on non essential workers will change even more.

Yes that's an extreme national example but people are the same everywhere. We all play the blame game. We blame Ford when our van breaks down even though it hasn't been serviced in years etc.  The odds scream someone on here is going to have a customer fall ill or worse with the virus.

And once again Nicola Sturgeon has said essential workers only after her spokesperson in Westminster contradicted her in PMQs regarding essential workers only. Incidentally the Boris Johnson agreed with him. It is very frustrating. Not many politicians will put their neck on the line. When they do give a definitive answer they change to a neutral standpoint sharpish. We are talking lives and they are frightened.  The pressure on ALL of us is on a level not many have experienced before.

I saw this. My point is this. Anyone and everyone could manipulate the essential bit to suit there own needs. The more people on the street the longer it will take.  Just because Barry the gardener is out as normal shouldn't open the floodgates for everyone else. Nobody knows who's got this and the sooner folk actually listen to the advice of 'stay at home' the sooner we all get back to work.

Now the majority are getting paid 80% of our wage to stay at home why do we need to go out unless your going to volunteer to help in the NHS or your going to do a vital essential job in the NHS or logistics. I understand this doesn't help everyone but ring the council, gas ,water etc and they will hold your bills until your back on your feet.

Also I am worried if I go out and advertise my van whilst actively working at the minute I risk being singled out as irresponsible and it only takes a few photos on Facebook and your business is getting bad name real quick. Personally until I'm told to go out I'm heeding the warning, stopping insode where at all possible and from the response from my customers from a text I sent on Tues they seem to agree it's the right thing to do. I'll have a business to go back to, I'll earn from the first day of work and in the mean time it will be hard but knowing money is on the way helps in these weird few weeks.
The above is the very reasons I ain't going out, I applied for a mortgage holiday on Sunday and have heard nothing back as yet and was told I would get a text in 2-3 days I am guessing they will have had 100,000's of requests so there is a big delay it ain't due out till next week so I am optimistic it will be  granted before then but no doubt it won't process till the May payment, it will no doubt be the same for the rest as they will be inundated with requests

Your out and about, van breaks down? AA called out, another person on the road, fuelling van at pumps, unnecessary if you ain't working you don't need to fuel up, envitiable some people will leave cash on doorstep or in bags, you'll pick it up, touch handles on van, gate, your home, kids at home. List goes on.

As I am not the brightest how will the average calculation work to get it down to a monthly average, I tried doing a calculation of my last 3 years earnings all added together then divided by 3 then divided by 12 I am I right in thinking my calculation would be the correct way of doing the average calculation.
Add your last 3 years profit, divide by 12 then multiply by 0.8. The longer way is add last 3 years profit, divide by 36 then times by 3 then times by 0.8

Yours should be somewhere close to £10k

No we do not have a safer job than anyone else, you are delusional to think otherwise. We could be carrying the virus with NO symptoms whatsoever and risk spreading it from household to household, this in my opinion is very, very risky, as someone else has already pointed out on this forum, If any of your customers contracted Covid 19 and you had been round, then who do you think they are going to point the finger at?
How could we catch it from a customer? I'm talking of wfp work so we are outside and don't even touch there windows. That's why Scotland is still allowing us out.

I think it's because touching gates, handles, van doors, fuel pumps, buying lunch and then taking all this back home is unavoidable. Virus lives on hard surfaces for a while.

Now the majority are getting 80% we can stay home. That's the reason he's paying it imo, they don't want you out on the streets at all, take the 80 and stay inside is the way I see it .

Same or higher risks involved when grocery shopping.

I will go further on this as I see quite a few posts on here saying we are safer than anyone else ……….I agree we might be CLEANING and trying to do the right thing and wiping door handles etc etc  BUT ONE SLIP JUST ONE SLIP UP ???? .

O.k If you still haven't got it lets take your point of principle your carryong on coz your 100% safe .

Please explain PPE3 protected nurses and doctors getting infected ( yes I know more overall exposure but its still getting thru is the damn point ) .

O.k If you still haven't got it

Your point of principle im safe o.k your cleaning in little old Britain with at the moment a few deaths and conflictory advice from government ( doesn't matter you can use your own head )  .Lets now just imaginery pick you up and your van either trad or WFP and plonk you in Wuhan lets imagine your cleaning in Wuhan at its worst ( because make no mistake what happened there and Italy is coming here ) would you still REALLY sing from the same hymn sheet of I can carry on as its stupid banning me im protected I don't have to see or touch anything . Get my point ?? THE PRINCIPLE IS THE SAME doesn't matter how many are dropping like flies around you the principle is the same .

Those who cant claim the 80% I  really do feel sorry for you its not right they should give a blanket amount I think like Trump has done to all . Only thing you can do is try find a temp job I know if you have to or try and exist on Universal credit and get a quick upfront payment on that claim to tide you over . Its not ideal I know but you musttry and do your bit and stay safe and keep others safe as well .

I don't know, I am not a scientist, all I know is that this virus has a propensity to spread like wildfire and I am taking it seriously enough to keep away from my customers until the government says otherwise, there is no need for any of us to be putting other peoples at risk now Rishi has made a financial safety net for us, no need whatsoever.

I don't think you get it mate, Shopping is essential as stated in .gov . Window cleaning is NOT essential. It's a luxury to have your windows cleaned.

The majority have been given 80% to STAY AT HOME! so we can kill this thing off quick. Just because 1 person is out doesn't and shouldn't open the floodgates.

Yes , find your last 3 years profit figures , not turnover.

Add all 3 together and then divide by 3. This gives you your average profit.

Minus 20% as he paying 80% and then minus 20% off that too as its taxable.

Divide that by 12 as that gives you a monthly profit figure and then X3 as he is paying for 3 months worth at present. So eg

10k profit -20% = 8000

8000-20%tax = £6400 per year

6400/12= £533 per month

533 x 3 as he's paying 3month worth = £1599 that you will be paid.

Ah sorry mate, I've just reread your post. Excuse my eyes. ?
Do you think this will be taxed at source or we’ll be taxed later on our tax bills as normal? I’d have thought the latter. In the example above (the profit was 10k) there’d be no tax as that’s under the personal allowance.

being a new business , we do not qualify for the self employed scheme , however I still think staying t home is the right thing to do. Just got to take it on the chin.

Can you pm me what you text to customers mate?

I gotta let mine know now.

Plus I can compact my round a bit now by moving jobs about lol.

I would imagine you will have to put this through your accounts as normal as it is for self employed. Bear in this mind when you work out money in your account you will have to 'save' 20% for the bill.

If you don't earn much more in the next tax year then in theory yes but this money is spread over 2 tax years remember. 1 month in 2019/2020 and two months in 2020/2021.

Agreed its far higher risk actually .

I don't get why people are struggling with this .

Why its different is YOU HAVE TO EAT DONT YOU  …….you don't have to have your windows done  ( and just for part timer and the moderator im not shouting just under lining the key point ) .
