New fitted system

just about to buy a lwb fiat doblo and looking to get a 500 litre pure freedom system fitted.
It’s got a ply floor so my question is do they mount onto and through the ply or do you have to remove it before the fitting?

I, personally, would remove the ply lining and put a good paint protector down. More expensive but, in my opinion, far better
