Hi guys, I need some help.

I've currently got a 300gpd water genie system thats lasted me a year but the water production is too slow (I've got 50psi and it takes all night)

I was thinking of getting a 600gpd system from amazon (vyair) for £200. Would this do the job faster or would I need a 4040 system (for alot more money!)

Im surprised a 300 gpd produces enough for 600 litres a day.  Takes 4 hours for my 4021 to produce 250 litres.

I actually use the Vyair 600gpd unit.  I've had it for a few months and am well pleased with it.  £214 including vat.  This replaced a 600gpd system from Cleaning Spot which was a whole lot dearer £340+, and membranes shot after 8/9 months.  The C/spot fittings were rubbish as well.  Cheap, nasty plastic which kept coming apart under pressure.  The Vyair has much better John Guest fittings which are easier to use and haven't failed me yet.

I have got a booster pump on it and it is quite quick on filling.  I can get 300+ litres in about 6 hours, which is ok for me.

Vyair description is 50 litres per hour in print down below. They advertise 2270 litres per day and you do get less due to pressure etc. So actually performing 40 % less. You get what you pay for.

Gave this advise to someone when he purchased something from Vyair and their description did not match the product. Cost him over grand due to wrong information advertised.

At 2 bar get more than that so maybe your membrane is on its way out

No membranes not on way out, has always done 250 litres in a bit under 4 hours. Pressure is only 45 or so though, and there is 3 waste to 1 pure. Much quicker than many set ups. Plenty good enough for my little round.

Its the vyair 4040 system with the eco membrane as my pressure is 50 psi and I couldn't be bothered to have a booster pump.
It should be alot quicker than my current 300gpd set up

This is the set up I was looking at , vyair 4040 with the eco membrane as my pressure is 43 psi. Can you let me know if that system is any good? Also, what is the eco membrane like?
