Hello guys,

I’m currently using the gardiner slx pole (46ft roughly with extensions when needed)

Im also looking at buying a new lighter day to day pole that could reach 60ft with extensions when needed on a new job.

Any recommendations please or advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Will you even get a good clean at that height ? Maybe hire a picker?

Yes a perfect clean we do lots at this height and considerably higher no problem at all occasionally go in side to look out at windows outside just to double cheak very rarely have any problem, sometimes in summer months seagull poo at 8 storey is a pain but let it soak and go back to it and comes off ok

For high level work I use an extreme 47 with extension pack this takes it to 65ft.It's nice and light but has a bit of flex.

The ultimate pole seems to be favoured my people who do a lot of high work as it is a stiffer pole and has the ability to go higher but you will pay around 3k for one.

Personally I wouldn't want to use a high level pole for day to day work. The collapsed length is longer than most poles meaning they can be slightly awkward on ground floor windows and harder to extend as the sections are longer and then there is the cost using say an extreme 47 which is around £1300 makes it an expensive every day pole.
