Advice on IBC needed

ADVICE NEEDED

The good

Just fired up my RO system and its 270ish in and 4 out.

The bad

Just had a look inside the IBC i bought and its clearly contaminated, theres a thick orange sludge inside that smells pretty bad and is thick and horrible, is there a way of cleaning it out and sterilising it, or have a bought a lemon?

Also cant get the black screw cap off or id get a brush in and scrub the **** out with a long brush.

Any advice on how to get the cap off?

Ibe tried tappimg it and pouring boiling water on it but its stuck solid

If you can get the top off then I would either complain to whom you bought it from or smash the lid off and replace it once you are happy you have cleaned it out.
