My water pressure is 65psi have a 450gpd RO tds as gone up lately approx 310, after RO 009 tds is this about right also is 65 psi ok for 450gpd RO or does it need a pump?

65 is good for that mate

I had 72 from my tap and was great..now they have lowered it to 42 and it is poo

Got to get a booster now as taking 2 days to fill my 1000l ibc and can't get below 14 before di

009 is good as 97% is what i would expect from the membranes roughly so 3ppm out per 10ppm in

To be honest with the water round here i could if i wanted to clean with that with no di and no spots

I'm cleaning with 4 now as i harvest rainwater and use my ro so they both mix and 4 is average for what i have with both combined in the ibc

I remember you getting approx 003 after RO that's a hell of a difference.

my tap was approx 250 but as been creeping up the last few months I used to get 006.

If i said 03 it would have been per 100 in so with my tds would have been 9 out but when i left my waste open more it went down to about 3 or 4 total but i think that is what killed my old membranes

9 for 300 in is ok

This whole booster pump and tap pressure thing. It takes my 450gpd ro around 7-8 hrs to produce 300ltrs of pure.

Tap pressure is really good but I only turn the tap on 2 turns, Should I be putting it on full whack if I wanted to produce faster.

If the tap open by 2 turns is delivering more than the r/o demands then it wouldn't make any difference. The problem is when the r/o requires more water than the tap is delivering.

But there is nothing wrong with opening the tap fully to find out.

TBH it used to take us a little longer to produce that much water with our 450gpd but we had 40 psi water pressure back then.

We would probably have done better with a booster pump but I never went down that route. I'm happy I didn't because the 4040 was the best thing I did for our water supply.

Thank you @spruce its one on dougs not sure on required pressure, Pretty sure we have really strong water pressure the stop **** can only be on 2 turns otherwise the pressure out the cold tap would be almost like a pressure washer.

I don't need to produce water any faster  to be honest as i put it on before i go to work and tank is full by the time i get back and with a tap tds of less than 50ppm I have no issues with water quality either.
