Anyone tips for using trad pole for first cleans?

I know a lot of you guys have gone onto the trad pole system, so I got the Moerman kit as well. My question is how do you manage to do first cleans on upper storey windows using trad pole? I'm still using my ladders for first cleans, which at 54 I don't want to do, that's why I went trad pole.

Any tips greatfuly appreciated.

i use ladders for first cleans usually but if you get a D.A. multi tool from Darren ansbro you could have a bronze wool pad attached to your pole so you can clean of stubborn stains

I think for first clean,using ladder is best. Your up and personal with the window and do a good job (I presume you clean frames and sills) then pole work is easier when you do them next month.

Go WFP is the easiest answer if you don't want to go up a ladder anymore.
