Well I finally got the results for my x-ray on my knee. It's badly worn and I need a knee replacement but I'm to young so they won't give me one. I'll just have to work through the pain. ?
 
This happened to a relative of mine. She needs a new hip but because of her age they didn’t want to do it because it would mean giving her a second one. My advise would be to seek a second opinion. That’s what they did and thankfully, in the end, they got the NHS to agree to do it.

I had tennis elbow and sore back years ago. I had to take painkillers and wear a back strap then grind it out when using the wfp. I'm lucky they haven't came back because don't want to be sitting about the house watching daytime TV. You don't seem to have many choices bar build your work and save to go private. I think we all will be looking for some sort of private care in the future.
 
I'm so sorry to hear this! Rather than letting it get worse and worse, I recommend you take a holiday to decide your next plans. Like saving up for the operation, switching to another job that doesn't require as much movement and outsourcing your current work, just for a while anyway.

Hoping you make a speedy recovery!
