Battery charger & connections

    Need a 12v battery charger & connections to fit to a backpack someone gave me.
    Any recommendations & also a diagram how to wire it up?

    I got all the gear. The battery needs charging up & I want to fit a outlet charger to it so dont have to keep taking it apart to charge it. Also a diagram how to wire it up. That link you sent looks a good buy tho.

    Did the original backpack not have the facility to charge the battery? If it did, then isn't the charge point still there? What part are you trying to wire? Did the backpack not allow the battery to be charged without taking it apart?

    Wiring a charger to a battery is simply 2 wires - 1 to each pole of the battery, so anything that is suitable for 12v or above will work. You need a mountable, splash proof / water proof female socket on the backpack and the corresponding male plug wired to the charger.
