Just looked online to see how much it would cost me to get some Ecover on an ozzie website as the supermarkets don't stock it and the product itself was $8.50 (£4.25 approx) for 1 litre but delivery was $10 (£5 approx) + GST

Just try supermarkets own brand eco plant based ones keefo. Asda and Tesco ones here seem to be almost as good as ecover.

What ratio did you use to dishwashing liquid Ant & what liquid do you use

I didn't think too much about the ratio tbh keefo, I just poured some in my bucket which had roughly 5 or 6 litres of water in. The vinegar I poured in probably amounted to about 2-3 capfuls, not sure if this was too much but definitely affective!

I've been applying my soap straight to the applicator, and at the mo I have some Fairy on the go but will be trying some Eco brands when I get round to buying them.

You can't really put too much vinegar in

It won't cause a problem

When i used to have my soap in the bucket i used to just pour a slosh of vinegar in..

Gotta watch the smell though! Too much and you'll be breathing in vinegar fumes all day!

Been using this today with fairy and vinegar, only 65p

Thought it was pretty good. Nice slip n shine, smells pleasant. Flash is next on my list, never tried it!

Tried Flash and Vinegar didn't like smell from flash and seemed to leave a smear when sun came out bright so went back to ecover and vinegar but let us know how you get on

Been on the Flash since Monday, the gel one, and I think it's ok. It's better than the W5, not a huge amount of difference but the W5 smells more chemically to me. Obviously Flash is dearer but don't need to use as much in my bucket.

I must admit I haven't noticed any smearing with it thankfully /emoticons/smile.png

Add a dash of vinegar to that and you've got yourself a potent cleaning cocktail!
