Booster Pump Leak?

Tried using my shurflo 100psi pump to pump through the ro filters to see if the ppm improved but when I connected it to the tap and turned up the pressure there was water leaking out the bottom of the pump. Has this broken it or just pressure to high? Thanks

I would say to much pressure on the inlet, these pumps aren't designed to have pressure that side. Try turning water down.

I didn't do it for long as I realised it was leaking but I would like to try again so I'll turn the water down next time. Thanks

These pump are more for drawing water up, if you can equal the water going in to what's going out the pump you should have no problem
