Brown alge

Whats the best way to get rid of  the brown alge  stuff ?  inside my 25litre drums  tried ubik  but theres still a bit there .

I used to bleach mine.  A good slosh of bleach in each drum then fill them with water and leave them over night or until the green is gone.  Then thoroughly rinse them out before using them.

I just make sure I don't leave them in daylight now with any water in them.  I haven't had to bleach them in the last couple of years

Bleach or Sterilising tablets for baby bottles etc both will do the job.
