Can you drink pure water?

I suppose the only problem drinking a glass full would be bacteria.Boiling would correct that wouldn't it ? Going bang, I ask you some people will belive any thing, unless you don't like some of my past posts?

Its fine to drink a bit, but if you just drink pure water it actually sucks minerals out of your body as it naturally wants to return to its impure state. The same way it sucks up dirt.

I use the water straight after the R/O before it goes into D I Resin stage, use it mainly for tea/coffee maker. stops all that hard water scale build up in kettle & it tastes fresher too.Water from mains here is 450ppm on tds .Mind you if i could filter rain water from drain pipes that would be ok as that shows  only 12ppm on tds.ok once boiled.

450ppm Jesus H Christ. I'm over here crying about 360ppm

I have drunk pints everyday for the last ten years,I now cant drink tap water for the taste, I always fill my drink bottles for the day with pure,Its tasteless odourless and colourless just pure H2O, probably the finest liquid you could ever imbibe, real hydration.

The tap water in our part of suffolk is 530 or so. The thing is, it tastes very good to me, makes a lovely cuppa etc. kettle will get scaled up, true. I think among that high tds, is also a lot of minerals which are good for us, and we've been drinking since time began. This will vary all over the country, but ive drank some tap water, in areas with much lower tds, and it wasnt half as nice as ours. I spoke to someone about watering their plants and they swore they did better with the tap water than with collected rain water. Maybe because of those minerals etc? Apparently half of anglian waters output is from reservoirs and surface water, the other half from underground, which would give it the chalky limescale, and high tds im thinking? Ive drank from some homes, cant remember where now where the water literally stank of chlorine. Cant detect that at all in woodbridge, despite the high tds, all the better for my cuppa  :coffee:

Yes I know what you mean, when I went to the midlands, yuck, tea was awful,so different from  what iam used to, here in London.Their water was soft water they proudly told me.The other thing is millions of bottles of mineral water bought over the counter.?

Inspiring talk.Do you boil the water?
Why would you need to boil "pure water". it is pure H2O. Two molocules of Hydrogen one of Oxygen,It cant be made any purer, these are two of the seven basic elements that the entire planet (and humans), is constructed of with everthing else removed, after it becomes "pure" there are no antibodies in it, No carbon (another basic element but one that might leave windows dirty),no Lime/Bleach/metals or other added chemicals that the water company's may or may not decide to polute it with.

Like I said pure is simple hydration, Tasteless, colourless and odourless..
