Quite a common unit in the US where you are

40/40 style membranes aren't the cheapest and when you add up the parts Ie stainless steel housing and associated plumbing the price makes sense.

I've seen many US window cleaners use similar setups and also the cart mounted ones with booster pumps.

Quite a large initial outlay however very equal to the UK systems

I know of few guys using them here state side and in Canada.

Just curious if any of you windies are using them there and how they hold up over time.

The cost up front is reasonable if the unit is efficient and long term dependable.

I don't know any UK window cleaners using portable RO's

We have only two main common systems in use

Home based water production using a static wall mounted 4040 RO with without booster pump and 11ltr resin DI to finalise the cleaning process

Or a similar mounted setup within a van that's filled overnight

no one uses an RO system on demand here

Jealous that I don't have one near me! Would have made starting up so much bloody easier.
