Church windows

Hi just wondering if any body has ever cleaned churches/stain glass windows I've been ask to quote two up but I am worried they mite fall out or leak as there all old leaded windows been asked to do inside and out

They will leak. Go gently with little flow.

They will almost certainly leak, very soft bristled brush and as Solar said as low a flow rate as feasible. Also do outside first as you'll be able to cover the water leakage when doing inside :1_wink:

I've looked into doing this type of work for a few of my clergy customers and having studied the financial rewards and the possible pitfalls.

My advice would be to stay well away, some of these windows are very old and very delicate, consequently they are very easy to damage and very costly to repair.

its a specialist job  and I for one leave it to them

I clean one 8 weekly, most of the stained glass has perspex over them due to age. But the rest i use a flocked brush gently with no issues.
