connecting reels and pumps.

Is anyone using john guest to connect from tank to pumps and reels?

What are you guys all using?

I have 1/2" hose at the minute but looking to upgrade so I can A) try using hot water and B) tidy things up in the back of van and C) easily connect/disconnect if needed.

I use garden hose and high quality (metal shell) hozelock fittings. On the pump I use the barbed connectors and jubilee clips.

Of course my hose wouldn't hold up well with hot water.

The metal connectors they sell at gardiners looks great though.
