conservatory cleaning trad way!

Depends how bad the con roof is what sort of roof it is ect. Last one i did was 4 rectangular poly sheets and then 4 triangular poly sheets cleaned the hole thing in about 2 hours including pvcs and windows. Last clear glass roof I did was 8 massive rectangular pieces and it took me 1 hour. Once youve done them a few times youll find better and quicker ways, sometimes for the clear glass I wish I had a WFP system but I just get on with it.

I keep a hose in the car when Im not busy so if anyone asks I can do it there and then. When Im busy I just take window cleaning equipment and arrange for another day. It can be a pain leaving stuff in the car sometimes gets in the way.

Oh fair enough, cheers pal appreciate it.

I got an 07 fiesta which I've got a roof rack for n put my ladder on.. all my stuff goes in the boot as don't ever use boot. Next step is to get a van I think when I can afford/justify it

Just remember no car is ever big enough and when you get a van no van is ever big enough rather annoying lol.

Sometimes I think Ill buy a lorry. I started with a little punto then a little Corsa then I wanted a new car and bought a brand new little fiesta, then I had a LVD Maxus which was to high then I got a IVECO Daily which was even bigger. I wanted something biggish and got a focus estate now I have berlingo multi space next I think is a VW transporter. As I get older I care less about what I drive and just want space lol. You'll get there my advice dont waste your money like I did and buy loads of vehicles just because your bored /emoticons/smile.png

Haha I love my cars..I have my day car which is my new Mercedes c220 coupe, and my old fiesta for my run about for this now.

Wish I didn't get my new one though so I could just get a van or something instead.. I was just unsure of what I wanted to do at the time of buying it. After speaking to a bunch of people. Decided this route, so might sell up n get a decent sized one n have a pimped up vw van! Might even get a camper van n be a recognised windie haha

Lol I would wait a while make sure you get established first /emoticons/smile.png. Then definitely Pimped VW /emoticons/tongue.png.

what about using a conservatory ladder ?! it's a bit pricey however it should be the best option for cleaning a conservatory the trad way I think ..

I might get one for me in the nearest future even if I use wfp - sometimes I think I use too much water (200L) to clean a roof and having a conservatory ladder will make the whole process cheaper in the long run

how can ya tell conservatory roof will take your weight safely?
You can't actually weight bear on a roof panel at all. If you need to get on a roof, you need supports (strong planks of wood) that brace across the roof 'beams'. And you weight bear on those. - I am sure there is a proper technical name for those beams. The beams take a lot of weight.

Multi purpose ladder with a suction cup /emoticons/smile.png then it comes handy for other things.

Im not going to lie but you don't know if its safe, if its been put together correctly you have nothing to worry about.

Lol Im properly one of the bigger window cleaners out there and I try my best to avoid going up a conservatory, I clean it then ask if there happy before I climb up on a conny roof . If someone was in a rush the day the conservatory was built you can bet the roof will fall through, I put my foot on a beam once and ended up having to anchor bolt it back to the wall (extra work that wasnt needed)

maybe a good job for a midget then

just throw him/her up onto the roof and dont let them down till there finished
