Does anyone on here use 3d power hose reels?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

We use the reels just like anyone else hose gets caught , stood on etc but never had a belt snap they are made with a slip protection built in so that if the motor is overloaded it doesn’t chew the belt up ........ famous last words ????

Which of the 2 reels would you say is the most powerful to reel in a 100Meter pipe?

3D Reels
PF Reels

What is the best most powerful reels on the market?

Really interested to know what you think. BECAUSE Today we had to get an electric reel stack taken out as it was not fit to pull in the hose pipes.

Pure freedom has more torque than a 3D
No electric reel will pull hose round 2 sides of a house you need to have it out to the side or rear of the van the same as you would any manual reel . What reels have you got ??

It is and there are loads of versions but this one takes 150 meters. A good customer of ours uses the hand held version on all his vans. Think he has 15 last time I checked.

Which type was this as we have a PF twin stack that has 8mm on. Whilst fully extended it struggles to get going, it does reel in.

Are Waterworks still using a 24v scooter motor on the latest reels? I see they have their own 12v sticker on them in their spares catalogue.

Many years ago, American manufactured Hannay fitted an actual 12v motor to their reels. That was back in the days when Waterworks was the only local manufacturer of electric reels.
