Extra hose length.

Hello everyone. I am wondering if increasing the hose length will make my backpack work harder making the pump work harder. What are people's thoughts ? Maybe decrease the overall pressure and performance Thanks

I would think so yes as the water has to travel that much further. If it’s a Gardiner backpack send them an email and ask them. Their customer service is excellent and they’re always very helpful with technical questions.

I believe Gardiner state a max total hose length from backpack to brush of 20m.

I have used backpacks with 30meters of pole hose without any ill effects , but guess the longer the hose the harder work it is for the pump , especially if using a high pole as well .
