Has anyone used standard water for a first clean to do the scrub then gone back and rinsed with pure water? Just trying to save money on pure water on these first cleans. Thanks!

I never have in over 10 years of WFP it doesn't cost that much to produce in the grand scheme of things and it's far easier and quicker to do a first clean with just pure if you are running a van mount.

Thank you.  I buy my water from a guy with a big RO filter.  He also runs it trough resin so its pretty much totally pure.  Costs me about 6p a litre. Does that sound like good value?

That's interesting, thanks Incheck.  I've heard people mention this x-hose before.  Seeing it in action on youtube right now I cant see how its' any more useful than a typical hose-lock adjustable flow nozzle.  Any more info on why you like the x-hose? Thanks again!

I'm di at the moment. We don't have water meters here, so I can fill up at a customers house when needed. I've been using a xhose for a couple of years now. Imo far better than a typical garden hose. No reels, no kinks, especially in the cold when the hose becomes stiff and unwieldy.
just wind it up by hand and hang it up.
