Has anyone fitted a fuel gauge type of instrument to their water tank so they can see how much water left when their water tank has too much **** on to to just take a look?

If so please share a pic or two and a description of how you did it.

Perhaps one or two of our resident engineers could answer this one.

Eh  just have a look at the water level through the plastic. If in doubt put your knee on the bumper and bounce up and down so you can see the water moving. If the water is half way up the tank I know I have about 250L left. You from the same planet as that geezer in your avatar Green

Right hand side - Like boarcity said. It's like an oil tank gauge!

I have a black tank.ionics fitted a barbed thread on the base of the tank to hold clear tubing which goes back to another barbed thread into the top of the tank.when the tank is filled it gives a more than accurate reading.easy to do.
