Hi guys does any one know of a fitting that can be screwed on to an outdoor garden tap, and the other end is a washing machine attachment. I have a water pressure gauge that screws on to a washing machine fitting but theres not enough thread on the tap and wont hold pressure!!!! our washing machine one is buried at back of cabinet.

Thanks for any help guys   :1f609:

Picture would help a bit more as washing machine ‘thread’ is usually 3/4” bsp and outside tap fittings can either be 1/2” or 3/4” bsp. I had a similar problem when I tried to fit a hoselock splitter to my outside tap, I had to buy an extension piece so the splitter didn’t bottom out on the tap as it wasn’t sealing. The alternative is to smear the thread in LS-X sealant, but then any movement or pressure from use will unthread it and leak
