Gardener backpack problem

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Hi ,I’m new to wfp  system  .I bought a gardener backpack in February. I use it about 3 days per week. I was using it today and it suddenly just stopped. There are no loose wires. When I put it on charge the green light on the charger  will come on after maybe a minute,  the motor will start for maybe a second then stop.

I’d appreciate any suggestions or solutions for I haven’t a clue ? thank you

Hello Anthony,

Welcome to a great forum and hope you enjoy it, you may get a better response if you post this question in the waterfed forum instead of forum news and Announcements section.

Sounds like the backpack is still under warranty. I'd suggest you contact Gardiners directly.

Are you fully charging the backpack overnight? sticking it on charge for 1-30 minutes here and there is pointless as battery will have being totally discharged and will need a full charge. Then see if it will run fully without issue,

I know the odd person who will run their backpacks till flat, you are better off either charging overnight every night or every other night depending on how much you are using it

Also if you run the backpack dry of water you will develop a airlock

Had similar problem recently...is the motor running ??? If so, it's an airlock.

Not many parts/electrical wires for something else to go wrong.
Hi Patrick, thanks for your reply and help.
