I'm having a problem where if the orange outlet hose drops on the floor without me noticing (I need to keep it rolled up and tucked into the handle) then it emptys itself and floods everywhere (slight exaggeration)...lol

I use a hozelock fitting and I was thinking of fitting one with a non return but I don't think it would work as they usually need the pressure of the water to keep then sealed.

Any ideas ?

If using a rectus 21 female fitting then it's obviously fooked because it's either got grit in the stop seat or the spring mechanism is buggered

If using a hoselock style connector is it a auto stop or open system

quite and easy issues to fix with the core basic understanding of the kit you are using

The non-return valve in these usually works very well even under non-pumping pressure - https://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/claber-aquastop-female-end-stop-fitting-for-microbore-hose.html
