Gardner hot hose

I disconnected the Gardiner tubing via the plastic John Guest connecter. I removed the barbed insert and reinserted it into the Lite-5 then just reconnected it into the JG connecter again. So the brush is just as removable as it was before.

Ahh right. I thought the rough looking outer edge might cause a leak when connecting in a JG.

The Lite-5 doesn't fit into the JG connector, the insert has a 5mm barbed end which fits into the Lite-5 the other end fits into the connecter so the rough edges makes no difference.

I spent about 40min to hour trying to get my n lite hose into JG fitment, very frustrating, sore fingers, twidling, heating up/cooling down the hose, shaving of bit of the casing, but got it in with much tears, so back to gardiners hose to make life easy.
