Just thought Id share this. I recently tried a bottle of Kilrock limescale remover on a window that was near the garden tap so it was covered in limescale. I sprayed it on, gave it a very quick scrub with a scourer pad, wiped it off, and hey presto, it looked spotless. Reason I shared this is because I was always led to believe by a couple of other window cleaners that you had to buy expensive chemicals to remove limescale from glass.

Hi Brian, what colour scourer did you use mate?

And ! At my local supplier a pro grade really effective bottle of limescale remover cost around 2 pounds .. 1 L . Compared to the few times a year i gotta pull that little bottle Out , i Think it reasonable and should be a staple in every cleaners van .

I use viakal quite effectively

Had a conny roof with 1 really stained panel due to overflow pipe dripping previously

Spayed it on the brush and scrubbed it

Cleaned the windows then went back and cleaned the panel like normal

.completely gone

Colour scourer: no idea! A cheap tescos one I think. Didnt really need to use it as I could see the limescale dissolving on the spot.I will try the lemon thing. I always thought it was a job for expensive chemicals. One of my customers said she used bathroom limescale remover on some glass that she had tried everything else on and it worked a treat. So I will now make sure Ive always got a bottle of this in my kit!
