This is true. I would never consider buying one, but there are some who use electric heating elements in their tanks to warm the water in winter so this could be an alternative.

For me, my personal opinion is that its more energy efficient to heat the water you are using, rather than water you aren't. Why would I heat 600 liters in my tank when I probably only use 400 liters? The other concern I have is that warm water rises leaving the cold at the bottom of the tank; the reason why hot water tanks take their hot water from the top and not the bottom. We take the water from our tanks from the bottom where its always going to be coolest.

Maybe why they haven't listed the price on their website Damo. Are they gold plated?

I will stick to oil rad and aquarium heaters to keep the chill off.

I would actually buy one if there were £100-£300 as I think they are great.

They do a heating mat. So you lift the tank up and place the mat on the plastic pallet. I think that's something like £200.

    Let me get the prices.

I was thinking 3 Green Pro Clean Ltd one for spare lol

I'm just going to buy a new house with garage, lay a nice garage floor with under floor heating, park in the garage and sleep in my van. :)
