No it’s not. You spray a light dusting of water on the surface of the conny roof or SFG then apply the virosol with a spray bottle.
It would dry in hot direct sunlight, but anyone who chooses to clean a roof in those conditions is making the job more difficult.
Its never dried up on me in all the years I’ve used it
This time lf the year using any water based chemical the water will evaporate very quickly the same is true if it’s windy it will dry leaving the chemical residue with virosol it will wash off easily without leaving marks un like tfr we have been using it for around 10 years and the fact it dries isn’t a problem we clean this type of job come rain or shine , by pre wetting a non pourous surface all you are doing is cooling it which will slow down evaporation but won’t stop it if we left it for 15 muinits the vast majority of the area would be dry , why do you need to leave it that long? we find within seconds of applying it the dirt is running down the roof or facia board so it’s fine to start cleaning it with the pole , if doing a poly carb roof with lichens then a little longer dwell time and maybe a second heavy spray may be needed to soak into it and help remove it
