Hepa filter for Kiam Cyclone

I filled my Kiam tank with water from a gutter and soaked the Hepa filter. The suction doesn't work now. Should I replace the Hepa filter or just use the gutter vac without the filter?

Don't these vacums have the option of the blue foam filter like gvs

If its wet then I dont use a filter.. Just use the filter for dry stuff.

They come with two filters, dry and wet. Just remove the dry filter and use with the blue wet filter

I had been wondering about doing that with the interceptor to be honest , I have always kept it in but did wonder if it’s really necessary this time of year

Spinaclean probably would say always use the filter but once they're wet then it impacts suction.... I would rather replace the motor every few years and the get through jobs faster or just buy a new gutter vac..

I have had a kiam for almost a year. The filter is designed to get wet as its a wet and dry vacuum. Always wash the filter with a hose while it is attached to the machine to get the debris off. The debris on the filter stops good suction.
