    i use both 8mm and 6mm.

i started on 6mm, then got a 8mm one, but now after using them both i use the 6mm a lot more now, like mark said its easier to use and lighter to pull about the place.

they both have the pros and cons :)

but sometimes i work on a busy main road with several buses passing by... and my 8mm hose is on the road with several buses driving over it ! but i reckon 8mm is safer when it comes to trucks and buses driving over it :p

    my opinion lol
