This could be a stupid question( I'm good at those) what's the difference between micro bore and mini bore hose?

My hose is 10mm ionics hose but when looking for fittings everywhere is mini or micro.tia.

Microbore is 6mmID 11mm OD..Minibore is 8mm ID 13mm OD

Just in case that makes no sense id is inside diameter

8mm barbs (the bit that goes in the end of the hose) can be made to fit on 6mm id hose by putting the end in a cup of boiling water and forcing on but putting 6mm ends in 8mm id hose is no good
