Nice one.

I had 40 k on the books at new year, I made a resolution to get to double it to 80k by the end of this year with an employee or 2.

I don't think I'll get anywhere near but going to try.

I found getting the work easy getting the right person hard , get the right one though and you will do fine ,keep them motivated ,and happy and hopefully they will become a good employee

Personally I average probably 18 per day, but always depends on general size and access of house. Some days I do 10-12 large 5+ bedroom houses, other days I can do 30-35 terrace and semis in the same estate. I also work totally solo so never needed help. A typical working day for me has me finished before 3pm, and I clean everything top to bottom, no ladders.
What's the question in context of? Are you looking today setup alone or broaden your round?

Loved the honesty of this post. It seems a lot of window cleaners focus on sheer volume of houses in their round, or a daily income of £xxx. What should really matter is you're content with your work load, and if not, know how to achieve more long term. It's a great industry to be a part of and shouldn't be shunned. We're all trying to out food on the table at the end of the day (and take the odd break here and there...)

Yeah I'm currently working with a partner, but we're splitting up, splitting the round with me switching over to WFP. 90% of my round is 2-3 bed semi's so like you I'm eventually hoping to be doing around 30-35 a day.

I'd assume if you and your partner are splitting the round, that you'll have a good customer base that's worth the split. Even if it's (say) £2k a month and the prices are good, give it a year and you'll easily stretch that by another £1k on your own. Also, sounds like you've been traditional up until now? Wfp will maximise your efficiency as you can generally get round houses significantly quicker (and more safely!), so even if your round is small after the split, you'll get round it so fast you'll be left wondering what to do with the rest of your week [emoji23] good call btw, hope you enjoy the transition!
