In the UK it seems as that most of the time the outside is done.
How often would you clean the inside of windows?
Would also charge more or would you charge less then outside?

Maximum every other month but I usually suggest 3-4 times a year.

And yeah I quote less as it takes less time. I often say 'an i can do the insides for an extra tenner' for a 'normal' 2 bed and £15 for 3 bed.

Can make quite good money from insides so I often promote it.

    How about you H Man?

I charge the same for the insides as the outsides, sometimes it isnt quicker, its a pain if there is loads of stuff on window sills and tv n the way etc.

I used to clean one customers inside and out every month for years but she passed away a couple months ago.

But hardly anyone has them done and i dont mind, i prefer doing the outside only, the other day a newish customer asked to have insides done, i said of course but it was a really hot day and i was sweating in

yeh with jake on this one ...in fact ...I have just started charging even more...

first thing I say to newbie insides is...

oh the insurance is a lot higher...so I have to charge more..

I do have some everytime insides and I dont mind them at all as I get used to them and it becomes a routine..and insides every time are usually a doddle.

I had a new bungalow only done once and she came out and said oh is it just double if you do the insides ...and this threw cheapie...he had seen the insides..

but lucky for him the husband had just said he would have to do them now and so he threw it straight back at her oh your hubby has just said he will do them..

    got a text back later...

can you do them when next in the area?

due back next week but I have news for her..

yes I CAN do them for the same as the outsides but..

    ONLY WHEN ITS RAINING...

any other time it is a fiver extra...

as you do have to use chemicals as insides are greasy where as outsides are dirty big difference..

plus of course you can drip where the heck you want outside...not so inside

even wfp or applicator skates straight over hand prints etc..

and for me who likes this job because Im free and as many know ...hates peoples being in and :specs:specs:specs me being inside is a bit of a pain...

    UNLESS...of course...shes a milf:rolleyes:

    please no knicker draw jokes..

on the last inside she left the knicker draw open for me...

but...please folks remember...bloody cameras everywhere these days..and before you get home guess what may appear on youtube..

cheapie does keep accidentally walking into washing lines though....seems to be always on the g string section:whistle:

    I must add....

in winter with my many many layers walking into an inside which is like tropical hot....you dont last long...and taking layers off and putting them back on....grrrrrrr

also so so easy to knock things over..

cheapie did loads of insides in his youth..

one room on one house was full of vases etc

    cheapie went in there shaking....

but he loves to recount the vase from behind the television that leapt out of his hands did a triple somersault and he nicely caught...

and I have posted about the standing on the antique chair to find that er...there not meant for standing on...and as he looked around only then did he notice the little daughter waking up at the sound of cheapie falling through the chair...

of course I told her to go back to sleep it was all a dream...

and what about cheapies fav...miss short skirt lovely legs oh I was so in :h: and of course she knew it...

she left me with her daughter who was in nappies and I commented saying thats not my er...smell...

she laughed and said oh its about time she went :turd: as she hasnt been for three days..

probably the sight of me up at the window

    boy that was some pong...

and no I didnt offer to do that change..:D

Here in Australia it is very different to the UK.
99.9 % of the time we generally clean inside and outside.
Here we also have insect screens which have to be removed and also have to be cleaned as well.
Before cleaning the out side then of cause the screens have to be replaced.
So prices vary as there are many different styles of windows.

Nearly all of my customers have asked me to do the insides, well more than half. I charge double as it takes me twice as long and recommend twice a year.
