Hozelock pops off if I run x2 DI Chambers?

Hi Folks,

Usually I top my tank up with pure water and then have a DI bottle in the van as the water comes out to make sure it's 100% and the system works fine.

However when I try to run x2 DI bottles it's almost like the pressure is too much and the hozelock pops off every time no matter what hozelock I use and with new O-rings fitted.

Is it possible that the controller I have needs to be adjusted to accommodate the change? If so does anyone know how I would do this?

Thanks in advance

Luke

The fittings should be fine with the pressure

I use the stainless fittings from Gardiners with the 6 or 8mm barb fitted and the male hoselock type fitting also so i can attatch my hoses on my reel etc and no problems with popping off ever

Not cheap but very reliable as they are secured with a few metal balls rather than the 2 or 3 plastic lumps on a hoselock connector

Quick-Release Metal Hose Plug with 3/4" Female Screw Socket - Garden Hose 1/2" Couplings - Hose Fittings & Adapters - Pump & Hose - All Products Gardiner Pole Systems

Quick-Release Straight Through Coupling with 1/2" Hose Barb - Garden Hose 1/2" Couplings - Hose Fittings & Adapters - Pump & Hose - All Products Gardiner Pole Systems

One last thought is check that both vessels are completely full of water. If their not full then the extra pressure could be too much for the hoselocks. You'd really know about it if this was the case as it would be like a mini water explosion when they do pop off.

This has happened to me before sounds daft but have you got it set to in and out right?? I didn't and it kept blowing off and firing resin all over ..if your putting pure in why bother mate I don't get why guys do this pure in is pure out . Just a thought
