First one before the start of December. What do you guys say?

"Hi Matt… can we have our windows washed in Jan 2022 instead of December. We’re watching the pennies for Christmas!
Thankyou.
Sophie"

Don’t get this happen as we spell it out crystal clear when taking jobs on explaining that we work all year ,if they hesitate we don’t take them on , if they have a genuine reason not to have them done building work , new windows being fitted  etc then that fine .

I would actually like to skip December and take a month off and head for the canaries every year. With the way things are going we will be heading for a staycation again.

If they're skint they're skint, each case is judged by itself. If they're regular skippers and you can afford to dump them then I'd dump them.

With our workload I actually appreciate the odd skip.

I'd reply, Dear Sophie of course yes, I'll let my kids freeze this winter and go hungry so your spoilt brats can have a ball. Kind regards Matt

I’m not bothered. Short days , poor weather, means I’ve still got plenty to do.
Usually it’s because the house is suffering from Decoration Rash, and access is tricky

As Part timer said , if they cancel regularly then think about dumping them if you can afford it.

If she's not a constant messer then that's fine IMO. She's been honest. However if it's regular messing, I'd tell her to get mr. Sophie to clean the windows!

Oddly today 3 new first cleans and picked up a new customer from them each but not in the towns the job was in,

one road (only about 12 houses) the fella said the road hasn't had a window cleaner for about 5 years so was hoping to pick up one of the neighbours i didn't find one in!

But its 3 extra jobs so can't complain.

We will be full of Omicron after COP 2021 and no one will want us!

I do have a first clean price, so if they miss a clean it will be treated as a first clean again

Never had this at Christmas, phone is usually alive with chancers who never have their windows cleaned, suddenly desperate for a Christmas clean, bo**&$s to them.
