Hi,

Need some help please,

I have 1000L IBC tank,

I looking for an adapter to connect the pumps up from it,

I can find many plastic type adapters, but these are flimsy, which i already have, but find they leak,

Anyone know where i can get something stronger that does not leak,

Ive added a pic of what i use at present,IMG_1514803069.399474.jpg

Cheers

You’ll be hard pressed to find something other than plastic, can’t you just seal all the joints? When I was setting up my tanks I used ‘smithsofthedean’ website as they seem to have the best selection of IBC connectors.

.......... and I suggest you use a liquid thread sealer. (PTFE liquid).

TBH I doubt you will every remove it (you will remove the hoses) so I would mix up some Alridite and smear that mix on the threads before you tighten them up. It will seal the threads and it won't come off again.

Thanks for replies,
Smiths of the dean is website I have been looking at, will give them a try plus some thread sealer,
