Leaking connections

I am right in guessing that screw fit as opposed to hoselock 'quick connect' type system will be more leak proof?

In my experience screw threaded connections beats hozelock for leakproof connections every time. Obviously you wont have the quick release facility that hozelocks have, but if you need that maybe that rectus fitting might be a good compromise.

I cant see a single reason why i would need any hoselocks as all my gear is permanantly mounted. I only have hoselock as thats what i am brainwashed into.
