can you tag a link to the one you have pleaseI've got a Halfords one. It's done well had it about 5 years. Charges fast and reconditions battery when needed.
Most new vans can't have a split relay, so I just plug in the van on the drive and it charges automatically
thoughts on this one spruceGenerally one of the rules of thumb when chosing a leisure battery charger is to 'marry' it up to the size of your battery.
If you have a 110 amph leisure battery then you really need to be looking at a charger that will deliver around 10% of the battery's capacity, so in my case a 10 amp unit. The charger manufacturers say a 10 amp charger is good up to 165amph battery.
If you have a charger that delivers 5amps maximum and you have a 110 amph leisure battery half charged, then you will need more than 10 hours to recharge it fully as your leisure battery accepts an ever lower charge the fuller it
Leisure batteries are designed that when used, charge them straight away.recommendations for a leisure battery charger please.
will be charging in house every few days
thanks in advance
That’s the one @spruce you recommended me many years back. It’s still running smoothly to this day. (Although I’ve probably jinxed it now ?)Its a bit expensive but its the one I would choose.
I would buy it here though.

Hi Den, do you leave the connectors on the battery all the time and just disconnect the charger or take everything off each morning?
@ALPINEYORKS. At the begining of this year I had to replace my Numax charger as it's failed after all these years. I opted for the identical Numax charger. On the box it now states that the 10amp charger will charge batteries up to 135amps in size.Generally one of the rules of thumb when chosing a leisure battery charger is to 'marry' it up to the size of your battery.

Thanks for that, I have a ring charger that's coming to the end of its life, I was looking at the noco chargers but I have a feeling its amazon that's making them look better than what they are@ALPINEYORKS. If I had a 220 amp leisure battery and it was 20% discharged, (80% charge remaining), I could still use that 10 amp charger to recharge that battery. However, if my battery was flat then I would need a bigger charger, ie. a 20 amp charger.
As a backup to my vehicle split charge system i use a clarke intelligent charger which can run at 15ampsrecommendations for a leisure battery charger please.
