Nowt as queer as folk.
Second clean of a new customer. First clean no issues, bloke paid up and was happy with service. Met us face to face, had the full service explained and opted for clean every 4 weeks. I have had my fair share of messers so I just take it on the chin now and move on, but this guy was a class act. Owed a tenner, we let it ride for 2 weeks then sent a text reminder, nothing nada, 3 texts later, 1 telephone call and an email all for a £10, no response. Now we gave this bloke the benefit of the doubt and assumed he was on holiday. However, we spied him at his house yesterday when we were out. So we knocked on his door which he opened and we said "hello, just come to collect for the last window clean we assumed you might have been away as we have tried to get in touch". He looked us up and down and grimaced like we were something he had found on his shoe and responded "Do I know you? Please don't come knocking on my door asking for money, charity starts at home". He then shut the door in our face. Has anyone ever been treated like this before? We are pretty thick skinned but this bloke is a blatant nut job and taking huge liberties. If I could be bothered I'd take it to the small claims court but to be honest I can't be arsed. If you got a similar story, please share. Some humans are just are not very human, makes me sick to my stomach that people like this exist. There is no way he didn't know it was a regular service he had signed up for. I've run out of eggs or this fella would certainly be getting decorated for christmas.
