Advice please.

I am moving into gutter cleaning alongside wfp window cleaning, I have spoken to suppliers, they say I cannot use wfp for gutters. I would like to get to 40'

I have a Gardiners

supermax 50 with ext 10 to 12

2 x extensions no 10

extreme 35 with ext 8 and 9

SLX 25

using superman ext 12 to 10 and  then 2 ext no 10 gave me 25 ft,

I appreciate I have no knowledge, but I am dubious to listen to suppliers, they said I cannot use them, yet the ext no 10 are sold by some as guttervac poles???

Also would like any advice on camera that I can view whilst working with no wifi on site, no ladders are allowed on site.

any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not mind spending money but I do not wish to haver my leg lifted again by some very unscrupulous suppliers

You can use modular wfp for gutter vaccing but there is such a wide choice out there now it pays to buy proper vac poles , you want 51 mm the smaller diameter ones block easily . Depending what you want to spend carbon fibre tubes sell very good taper fit 51 mm sections ,at the top end of the market you have skyvac elite poles that are clamped and are very good .

You cannot use a telescopic pole for gutter vac poles , I hope this answers your question and hope I have interpreted what you have asked the right way ?.

Spinaclean sell 40' gutter vac poles and an adapter to convert it to a modular WfP. Many years ago I converted an old glass fibre WFP,  with a Heath Robinson adapter. It was very heavy and very very hard to extend. You don't need wifi with the Spinaclean camera.

Personally I'd  keep the 2 sets of equipment separate and have dedicated equipment to do each job.

If ladders aren't allowed, and strictly enforced, you will need quite a few extra tools to do the gutters properly.

Hi Part timer, thank you, I will have a look at spinaclean, with reference to additional tools, any recommendations for a good online supplier?

I use Pro Gutter tools and have adapted an old WFP to clear muck, from the floor, to areas where the gutter vac can get in. Basic stuff like push rods can be useful as well. There are a myriad of equipment suppliers selling weird and wonderful stuff. Sometimes looking at underground drainage equipment can give you ideas.
