Hey guys, hope your all well and have your advice hats on.

The dilemma we have is how to tackle this job,and the best way to price it up. We use WFP which currently reach 30ft with extended pole. The job seems to be at least 60ft to 70ft. We're unsure as to how to go about it, in regards to getting more extension poles or cherry picker. Any other suggestions would be great. The main points are: how to charge and how to complete the job. Pictures have been added to help. Cheers all

Buy the right length pole, it means youre able to take on more work of the same size, and will be paid for, rather than rented. Thats what my brain told me, in your shoes...

ditto^^^ get a super max50 or a ultmate 50 and get extenshions if nessery that job looks like a 50 ft would reach it easy to me but i could be rong as for pricing brake it down to sections price it all then add a bit on top to sweeten it ide wana make shore its had the bilders clean be for the scaffolding is gone as wfp wont get off the film and the render concrete ect

Is there anyone here who is nearby and can jump on the wash, first time who can use/has a pole that size and the time to teach? If I drove and had a pole that size i'd help a local(ish) windy.

Is that you holding a pole in the pic @Expurgoclean? The building doesn't look to much higher than the pole you're holding, unless there are more than 3 floors? An SLX-35 would do that job if it's just 3 floors. My main worry would be how dirty are the windows due to the building work.

Hi to a fellow west london boy:cheers:

I wouldn't want to do it if it hasn't had the builders clean done already

It looks like a builders clean in which case wfp won't remove cement, mastic or tape etc so your only option is cherry picker or abseil.

If you don't do much 60-70ft work a decent pole at that height will cost anything from £1200-over 2k for the ultimate which is a lot of money for a pole that could sit there unused after this job.

As for price I don't touch builders cleans far to much aggro but I would think of your price and x4.

If it were me I'd trad as much as poss before that scaffolding comes down. Pole the rest. That's what I always do after a builders clean like that.

Think it's only a legal requirement if your erecting or dismantling it mate. I just ask the foreman first and the answer is always yes.

YOU WANT TO AVOID IT. just my opinion, theyre more than likely tryin to trick u into including the builders clean

I'd avoid the builders clean but get in touch with the right person to make yourself available for on-going maintenance cleans, looks a nice place to do, but get yourself a nice lightweight carbon pole that will reach all windows.
