New moerman fliq pad scrubber

I was wondering if anyone else has the lastest moerman fliq pad with the scrubber sown into it? My older ones never had it. Personally I think its a great idea and saves time. But its not the easiest to use on a pole. I am conscious that the channel is metal so I dont  want to bash or scrap the windows. 

Anyone have any suggestions on using something else?
