A hose reel is never going to be called pretty but that is one ugly thing. Looks unfinished. What is the retail price on that, anyone know?

Designed by Gardiners with GrippaTank, If they all looked the same it would be boring, Tried and tested for up to 2 years it says on Gardiners website the price last week for a non powered reel was £149 with the option to power but not yet released.

I actually think it looks quite good, especially as they are also designed to be stackable.

The gardiner website says that they are manual or electric upgradable. It indicates to me that when they say "manual - geared manual ...." there is a planet gearing system (because the crank handle isn't off center) to make winding in easier.

It's not meant to have a chain, and so less issues Doug at daqua was telling me and I think it looks cool.

Spoke to the chap from grippatank he said the electric version would retail at around £600 mark [emoji33]
