On a serious note a customer gave me a fiver to give 4 of his cctv cameras a wipe over this week!

Each camera takes about 5 seconds, could be a nice little add on to offer or even an additional selling point when you’re quoting. What do you guys think?

I had a warning from a customer last month that she had a dog, no issues with that clean, today however, there was turd everywhere, got it over my hose, trousers and shoes, fuming! Sent a polite message asking to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Ahh, that’s **** when that happens, feeling ya pain

I have a house where their alleyway has literally a 1,000 dog turds ? that I have to walk through with my hose dragging behind me.

I have kept the house because it can't get any worse than that.

I will try and get a pic of that for a laugh, when it's at its peak poopage ?

I had one yesterday I arrived and she said dont clean the windows today because her fellas got the flu... Last time I went there the garden was full of dog ****. Was the same again yesterday.

Thought to myself im glad hes got the flu and the job cant go ahead, goodbye I wont be coming back..

I would have dumped that no way would we dodge poo like that , it’s a health hazard getting it on your shoes and hose then it stinks the van out no way ???

Plus it ain't fair to go trundling through another customers house to do their rear windows.

I got done by one last month - all over my boot. £15 job that didn't get paid as she was in Turkey.. ended up costing me £4 in disinfectant.. Still she finally paid me today but i'm in two minds about going back there though. She wants them done every month and at £15 a time i can't really afford to drop her just yet but i will do once i can afford to as I ain't doing dog poo - that's a load of ****.

That’s where the good old Gardiner’s backpack comes in, no trailing hoses and you can put it in a central place once round the back so you don’t have to keep moving it. I do a bungalow that takes the whole 100m of hose to get round - access is only down one size but the place is massive. Not too many windows so I carry the backpack to the furthest window and come back on myself. It’s a joy to carry back to the van when it’s empty!!

Yeah i see what you're getting at but this house is surrounded by long uncut grass - the dog poo literally jumps out to attack you lol. I did indeed leave my trolley on the footpath but still ended up disinfecting the hose too. I think next time i'll keep the hose tight from the trolley so it don't drop to the ground..

This garden always does my head in, its snag city with the whole range of solar tat from the garden centre.

Don't worry matey, i did one far worse than that the other day. Front windows were surrounded by overgrown bushes & brambles, my hose repeatedly got caught up in there and then he asked me to do the fascias too. How my hose survived that without getting punctured is beyond me. Now a regular customer too lol so i got it all again in a couple of weeks.. There's another guy too.. he had to pull his rose bush back with a litter picker for me it was so large lol.

3 strikes and there dumped regarding dog feaces, I dropped one yesterday after GC payment had cleared I did not see any walking into the garden last week and thankfully it was out of the way when I spotted it but they had been warned previously

I agree, backpack it, no hoses getting snagged etc.

We have a few cottage gardens delicate flowers everywhere either use the nano/Gardiner backpack as the  mount hoses would destroy the flower beds.
