No waste from new RO

Hey everyone. I just replaced my RO membrane with a low pressure one. I've fitted it and it's not producing any waste water. My water pressure is around 55psi at 13LPM

Could this be because my water pressure isn't enough and I'll have to resort back to the booster?

I've tried the waste valve fully one way and fully the other way and it still won't do anything.

Does the new membrane just need to be run a little while?

I'll appreciate any help

One assumes that you have connected all the hoses up correctly? Low pressure membrane should be ok with 55 psi .

Yes, I've just connected the booster and it's all good. Just seems a shame as I got a new membrane specifically to use without the pump

There has to be waste otherwise you will damage the membrane. Is it a Gate Valve you are using, check inside to see it it opens.

I would stop running it before you damage it.
