looks like ive not got mch adjustment left ill have to get some new clamp bodys an some of this lakker stuff that kier uses grrrrrrrrr pole is like 8 months old or there abouts this is the number 1 section:mad:

Tench you can rescue that bud dont worry, get some of that hycoat lacquer and do the pole, but also using the same wet and dry roll it into a tube and just run it in and out of the clamp body to take any rough edges off then give the bore of the clamp a few coats, let it dry inbetween coats obviously but the combination of doung the pole and clamp internals you will have to back the clamp off a fair bit just to get the pole back in.

Bloody annoying though innit? Brilliant pole apart from this problem

thanks keir top man ill do that:) yes very annoying lol but the poles clamps r ace very quick to use just a shame it wore out so quick i fiel a bit beta after a rant an a bit of advice frm ur self:thumbsup:

Hope so, cause eventually i will need to replace this pole

And as much as i love my gardiners i dont think i could do all day everyday with those clamps, once a week or for odd jobs is fine but not for ever lol

My pheonix is now 18 month old and going strong, but needs fettling once a month

Fettling once a month....Your pole gets more attention than I do from the wife /emoticons/biggrin.png
