One of the black ends or possibly both will unscrew not sure which one though as not got that type

After unscrewing use a rubber mallet to knock it out

You will see two white clips both ends. There should be a lip at edge of one side. Pull this gently inside and the clip will come away.
Gently knock around the edge of the cap with a hammer. You will see a 1/2 inch female thread in the middle. If you have anything with 1/2 inch male that you can grip on then screw it in. Then pull it out.
